[Memories] Long-gone things that only you remember [Ephemeral]

A very long time ago, probably around 2010, someone quietly promoted their site on a place that need not be named. That site was a sort of odd hybrid imageboard/textboard called Bokkusu. It was a neat concept where all posts in a thread would be displayed as squares that could be repositioned, and they had lines showing their relationship to one another, kind of like a big graph. The admin was a Frenchman who the board christened 4&4; I spoke with him on the very sparsely populated IRC channel, and he seemed like a fairly decent chap, if rather quiet. Sadly, activity was all-around low, so the site went under after a month or so. I recall seeing 4&4 pop up on a textboard somewhere admonishing someone asking for his script after "allowing the site to die", in his words. It is now completely lost to time as far as I know.

I remember the guy who used to run hellochannel and how he lives in the same country as me. I still think about running into him someday.

There used to be a Yoshinoya in my town some time ago. Unfortunately, it was set up in an awkward strip mall location, and having no drive-through is a no-no for fast food in a spread-out car town, so it got next to no traffic. It was gone within a year.

I remember this old imageboard which I used to visit every so often around 2007ish. I think it was called 7clams? 4clams? Something like that. There might have been a 4 and a 7, but I'm not entirely certain. It ran some custom software I've never seen elsewhere which featured playlist embedded in it which let you download the songs in it directly from said playlist. I thought that was pretty neat, especially for the era it existed in.

I remember finding the best rendition of Vampire Killer I've ever heard there, one which I haven't been able to find anywhere else. It sounded kind of like a mix between Akumajo Dracula X68000's and the PS1 Castlevania Chronicle's versions, though I could be misremembering. Said rendition, or even the board itself, may have never existed. There were so many tiny imageboards popping up every day back then, it's hard to keep them all straight.

I used to pirate lots of games from a page simply called "JUEGOS COMPLETOS GRATIS". Their "no reccomendato para menores" section was IIRC the first place I encountered the wonderful world of hentai games (True Love, Three Sisters Story, Knights of Xentar, et cetera...)

I remember being in the bathroom at preschool and seeing that all the other little boy's penises looked different than mine. I was really worried that something might be wrong with me and it was only later that I figured out that there was something called circumcision and that's why everyone else's looked different.

Another time in preschool someone said that I had some brown crayon on me but it was just a mole.

As a kid I used to think that it was called a "penis" because you pee through it.
