I jumped on the second iteration of SAoVQ in 2008ish I think. The imageboard was still open at that time and there were two other boards. I can't remember if creepy was one of them or if that came with the changes after the imageboard got shut down for CP spam.

A bunch of pioneering gentlemen from world4ch /NEWS4VIP/ became tired of warning the internet about JEWS when no one would listen, and decided to spend their time focusing on pure VIP QUALITY. Many QUALITY posters still hung around textboards like /lounge/ and /prog/ for a time, while others migrated to 4-ch and set up their new mecca under the guise of DQN. I'm not sure when SAoVQ came about exactly but I remember posting in '07, maybe earlier.

Once upon a time, the raw elemental QUALITY in /news4vip/ (and to a lesser degree, /prog/) gave rise to Daddyc Ool the Vippe Rand, who offered us a deal in exchange for sufficient remuneration. His secret area, contemporary to the general whatever-wiki frequented by many VIPPERs, in turn begat an absurd structure, anathema to QUALITY observed hitherto. With easterly winds /news4vip/ has long since gone, but there are some who think Daddyc Ool still lurks in the sidelines, observing and guffawing into the collar of his snazzy leisure suit.
